The event will take place at a historic structure named after their current president, Bob Boyer.
The group will celebrate their four decades of community service at the Cady/Boyer Barn beginning at 6 p.m. on June 6.
“We could have made it a formal affair, but this is more who we are as a club” said Gloria Hammond, co-chair of the dinner dance.
The barn is located behind the Bartlett Travis house at 500 North Ridge Road and the public is encouraged to attend, she said.
The anniversary party will include a catered dinner, pop or coffee, raffles and 50s and 60s music by Canton’s own FAIRVIEW featuring Ron and Alfred Muniz on guitar and lead vocals, Chad Atwell on bass and Lions Club Member Karl Zarbo on drums.

The club was recently awarded a Canton Township Community Supporter Award, too. Boyer said he hopes the June event will bring in some new members, as well.
