Food drive this month
Great Clips in Canton is offering $1 off every haircut for a donation of a non-perishable food item during the month of July.
All food will go to local shelters and centers in need.

Businessperson of the Year nominations are sought
The Canton Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2009 Businessperson of the Year.
Nominees will be contacted and asked to fill out a questionnaire and the winner will be announced at the noon, Oct. 7 business luncheon.
Nominees must demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession, provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life in the community, be an active member of the Canton business community, be a member of the chamber and actively promote economic development in the community.
