Art entries sought
Artists interested in exhibiting their work in the 17th Annual Fine Arts Exhibition have until Aug. 21 to submit their work for consideration in the show. All media is eligible and slides and digital image files will be accepted for review.
Entry fees are $15 for each submitted piece and must be received by 5 p.m. Aug. 21.
This year, more than $1,950 will be presented in cash prizes to artists.

The exhibit will hang at Village Theatre at Cherry Hill from Oct. 2-25.
Food drive this month
Great Clips in Canton is offering $1 off every haircut for a donation of a non-perishable food item during the month of July.
All food will go to local shelters and centers in need.
Great Clips is located in Canton Premier Center, 46018 Michigan Ave.

Barefoot Productions sets summer shows
Picasso at the Lapin Agile and The Adventures of Captain Neato Man will take to the stage at 7 p.m. July 23 at the former Walker-Buzenberg building on Main Street in Plymouth.
Tickets for the two shows are $12, while student and senior admission is $10.
These are the first show of the season for Barefoot Productions, a volunteer, non-profit theater group.

Crafters wanted for Plymouth Fall Festival
The Plymouth Fall Festival is accepting applications for the craft show, which takes place during the festival Sept. 11-13. The show will be on Union Street north of Ann Arbor Trail. 10 by10 foot spaces will cost $75 per day or $200 for the weekend. Jewelry vendors are juried and must have their applications in by June 30. All other vendors are awarded spots on a first come-basis.
