Where: Heritage Park, Canton
When: Sun. Sept. 30, 2007
Why: Wayne County residents and businesses are lacing up their walking shoes to raise funds and awareness for the 15,200 Special Olympics Michigan athletes; on-third of which are from the Metro Detroit area.
How: Individuals or groups interested in participating as walkers can visit www.somi.org or call Holly Fountain at (586) 731-0922 to register.
