The crowd here today is terrific. Lucky to find a parking spot today, right on Ann Arbor Trail. It’s not too tough to see the progress of the sculptures, though. Looks like the coffee shops will be doing good business this weekend.
One thing that strikes me is how many dogs people have brought to the festival. They’re ready for the cold, too. It’s hard to imagine something as cute as a dachshund in a sweater.
Speaking of dressing for the weather, make sure to stop by the “Beanies by Angie” tent of you forgot your hat. Angie Huemiller, of Waterford, has set up shop right by the covered fountain. She said yesterday that business was slow. Hopefully that’s all changing for her now:
