The Romulus High School Lady Vikings basketball team and their male counterparts were the invited guests at a reception before Monday Night’s City Council meeting. The girls were honored by the council for their standout performance during this year’s athletic season. Top: Gilbert Jones, Dominique Ware, J.J. Snelling, and Coach Greg Carter are joined by several of their players and Mayor Hilliard L. Hampton. Bottom: Girls’ basketball coach Peggy Carr is joined by players Sigourney White, Moriya Knowles, Itanise Crawford, Tiffany Lewis, Alexis Baynhan, Dianca Raines and Victoria McGowan.
