Music in the air




The Inkster Summer Jazz Festival returned to downtown Inkster on Saturday, bringing plenty of entertainment—both musical and otherwise. The event featured game and magic for the children, music for the grown ups and plenty of other activities besides. Wayne County Executive Bob Ficano (below, right) made an appearance and the Inkster Classic Cruisers set up their unique vehicles along Michigan Avenue. The event was combined with the first ever Cruisin’ Michigan, a mobile classic car show that will return again next year.
