He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Alonzo Lamar and Anthony Lamar; two daughters, Yolanda Glaze and Angela Lamar, all of Inkster, MI; five grandchildren; sister-in-law Marcelline Dukes; special cousins Evelyn Steptor of Phoenix, IL and Elizabeth Harvey of Richond Park, IL. And a host of other relatives, family and friends. Services were held at Penn Funeral Home with Elder David Roberts officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Final arrangements were entrusted to Penn Funeral Home, Inkster, MI.
FINLEY, William H. (Pete), age 77, died December 2, 2007. He was born March 6, 1930. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Ernestine Finley; daughters, Rachel (C.J.) Bates and Tara Finley; sons, Milton Finley, George (Loretta), Calvin (Tanjah) and Jimmy (Dorothy) Brown; eight grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services were held at Penn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Young officiating. Interment was at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Ypsilanti, MI. Final arrangements were entrusted to Penn Funeral Home, Inkster, MI.
KELLY, Anne Marie of Wayne, MI., died December 4, 2007. Loving sister of Frank Kelly (Jerrie), John Kelly (Cheri). Aunt of Daniel, Kathleen and Jennifer (Carson). Great aunt of Layla Rose. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, volunteer at St. Mary Outreach Center and active member of the Wayne Golden Hour Club. Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wayne, MI. Final arrangements were entrusted to Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Wayne, MI.
WEST, Dorothy, age 83, died November 30, 2007. She was born March 18, 1924. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Anna Penn and James Cosper, as well as five of her siblings, Edith, Alberta, Maurice, Morris and Ambrose. She leaves to cherish her memory four loving sisters, Queenie, Elnora, Dolores and Joyce and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Services were held at Penn Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Willis officiating. Interment was at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Ypsilanti, MI. Final arrangements were entrusted to Penn Funeral Home, Inkster, MI.
