HOLLIS, George, Sr., age 83, of Tecumseh, died June 30, 2008 at home.
He was born Jaunary 4, 1925, in Detroit, MI, the son of Stephen and Mary (Angel) Hollis. He was married to Althea Swayze and she preceded him in death on January 12, 2008.
George was owner of Hollis Chevrolet, Romulus. MI in 1958, and continued selling cars his entire life.
George is survived by three sons, George Jr. (Karen) of Glendale, AZ, Gerald (Norma) of Hamburg, MI, and Gary (Kathy) of Brooklyn, MI, 10 grandchildren; and 9 great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Althea; and grandson Tony.
A Celebration of George’s Life will take place 2:00 p.m. July 12, 2008 at Brooklyn Eagles, 9500 Wamplers Lake Rd.
