Toy program seeks donations
To the editor;
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots 2008 campaign in the southeastern region was a huge success. Without the help of business supporters we could not distribute toys to needy children. This year, we anticipate the need to be even greater and we are asking for your help. We will be servicing Belleville, Garden City, Wayne, Westland, Romulus, Sumpter Township and Van Buren Township.
This year, the registration dates for the 2009 Toys for Tots program are Nov. 5-20 from noon until 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Fridays.
Registration will be at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 29066 Eton St., Westland.
