Reaching out

Lynn Lederman (right), director of community outreach of Hiller’s Markets, delivered canned goods and other non-perishable food to The Salvation Army Plymouth Corps Community Center recently, much to the delight of Capt. Daniel Hull (left) and Teresa Moriarty, director of special events and volunteers. The canned goods and food were collected at the Hiller’s Markets in Plymouth and Northville during The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit’s “Doing the Most Good” week, which took place May 10-16. “Doing the Most Good” week is unique to metro Detroit, and is designed to call attention to individuals and groups, who through their actions and donations are “Doing the Most Good” to help the communities in which they live and work.
