VEW Ladies Auxiliary 3323 and our members won the All State Ladies Auxiliary Achievement Award at the VFW State Convention in July 25 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn.
President Wanda Boice graciously accepted the award as our leader.
This award was for attaining all points for our community service and membership. This is the highest award attainable for any auxiliary. President Boice would like to commend her officers and chairmen for a job well done. Without team effort, we would have never won this award for our auxiliary.
In addition to winning the All State Auxiliary Achievement Award, President Boice received the first place nomination and award for the Volunteer of the Year Michigan VFWA. This award is for an abundance of volunteer work and dedication over and above the call of duty. President Boice will be competing for the National Volunteer of the Year at the VFW and Auxiliary National Convention in August at Indianapolis, IN.
