FeedsSymphony auditions slated
Auditions for the Celebration Youth Orchestras, a sponsored project of the Plymouth Symphony, will take place by appointment Aug. 27 at Evola Music on Haggerty Road in Canton Township.
The Celebration Youth Orchestras are under the direction of award winning conductor Nan Washburn and include musicians from Plymouth, Canton, Northville, Novi, Belleville, Westland and throughout western Wayne County. Currently there are three orchestras and a flute choir. The youth orchestras perform in two major concerts at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton. Weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals take place at the Plymouth Community Arts Council building on Sheldon Road.
