Return of the trolls

I know, I know, people who post comments under multiple names on web sites aren’t called ‘trolls.’ What can I say, I always wanted to write a headline like ‘Return of the Trolls,’ and you get precious few opportunities to do that unless you’re a writer for one of those eye-catching publications in grocery store check out lanes.
The issue of these frequent posts is often a web master’s (or a gatekeeper’s) worst nightmare, and they tend to pop up during controversial issues, such as the upcoming millage request in the City of Romulus.
Rest assured, I want people to comment. That’s what we’re here for. I just want them (you) to take a few things into consideration:
(1) Don’t insult anyone for their point of view (or any other reason, for that matter).
(2) Keep the profanity out.
(3) Don’t allege any criminal behavior.
(4) Have enough confidence in your point of view to avoid the temptation to write and post it as three or four different people.
