Will the real winner stand up?

If you’re wondering why the print version of The Northville Journal reports different results for the Northville School Board than our online editions, here’s why:
We go to press Tuesday night, and Tuesday night, it appeared that Carol Grimmer had ousted Libby Smith. The results I went with came from the Northville Township Clerk, but did not reflect ballots cast in all communities that send their children to the Northville district.
In short, I unknowingly published incomplete results. We couldn’t fix it for the print editions, but got the proper info up on our web site.
Marilyn Price and Libby Smith were re-elected Tuesday. I don’t think that’s going to change.
I’m sorry about the confusion, and I’ll have more on it in the paper next week. In the meantime, if you see a guy driving around that looks perpetually embarrassed, it’s probably me….
