The Wayne-Westland Giants rolled to their first win on Saturday morning.
Blake scored the first goal of the Giants’ season when he ran around the Striker defenders and popped one in the net.
Alan is shaping up to be one of our top players; he scored three goals on the day and kicked away two Striker threats.
Speedsters Hannah and Camryn stopped a few scoring opportunities on their own, and fed the ball to the equally speedy Alan and Jacob.
Sydney had a goal in the effort, too, and my son Henry came close twice.
It was a good game all around and the youngsters are really coming together, having fun and learning how to be good sports.
I can’t wait for next Saturday!
