Gathering more allies

Officials in Northville Township will get a little extra support tonight in their ongoing dispute with REIS.
The Northville City Council has resolution on the agenda tonight in support of continued cooperative efforts between the two municipalities to preserve property values, community services and schools.
‘The township, through its Master Planning and Zoning, has endeavored to promote development that complements, not conflicts with, the City of Northville…’ is one of the whereaseses.
It’s always nice to see a couple of communities stick together on something like this. And it’s probably reassuring to township officials that at least one of their neighbors is stepping up in support of them. I wonder if that support will include chipping in to pay legal fees?
Probably not. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how this fits in to the long-range plan…
