Another change on the way

Those of you familiar with our printed product will recognize something different on Thursday.

Beginning this week, we are switching to a broadsheet format. Most newspaper readers will be familiar with the term, whether they recognize it or not. It’s what many think of when they conjure up the image of a standard newspaper; the form followed by the daily papers and our local competition.
I’m pretty excited about it for a number of reasons. I always get a number of comments on the size of our publications, with most people urging a change to the larger size. This will help us bring more news and other features and make it easier for our advertisers, too. I’m also hoping for more space to print letters to the editor (so send them in to sspielman@journalgroup.com), too.
