What's it all about, Aldi?

It’s nearly 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and it feels like I just woke up from the Canton Planning Commission meeting last night.
And I left early, too, if you consider 10 p.m. early.
There were a couple of interesting items up for discussion, including a proposed Aldi grocery store at Ford and Lilley roads, where there’s a large anchor spot that has been vacant since the Sears Hardware store moved out.
Aldi’s are like miniature versions of Sam’s Club or Costco. You can’t always predict what you will find there, but you can find some good deals. It sounds like they’re going to dress up the building and improve the traffic flow there, too. All good things.
