Grab your Tums, Tigers fans

When I saw the early schedule this year for the Detroit Tigers, I predicted a slow start for the season.
Sure, it was only Royals and the White Sox, and they’re two teams that may not be very good. They’re good against us, though.
Still, there’s losing and then there’s losing. Nineteen strikeouts in two games against Royals’ pitching? Allegedly the most potent lineup in the majors batting a collective .190? Ouch.
Grab your tums and be patient, Tiger fans. It’s going to be a rough month, but things’ll straighten out after that. The difference between this April and Aprils of the past is this team is good enough and experienced enough to battle back from an early season hole.
Let’s just hope it doesn’t get too deep….
