Still improving after all these years...

Well, I’m still full after the annual Realtor’s Luncheon hosted by the Wayne-Westland Community School District.
The annual event took place yesterday at the William D. Ford Career Technical building. I’ve liked this concept since I first heard of it. Essentially, the district welcomes all the area real estate agents and talks about all the positive things going on in the district. The thought behind it as that the quality of the district is one of the major contributors to home values.
There’s plenty to be proud of in the district, too. A lot of that was evidenced in the Vo-Tech center, where students can prepare for a wide variety of careers other than the typical college-prep course.
You factor in all the improvements made through the sinking fund millage—most of the buildings have never looked better—and the continual improvement in test scores and the district is still a strong selling point in a weak housing market.
It’s just one of the reasons why I moved here from Plymouth…
