Sometimes, there ain’t enough column space...

I never thought I’d see the day where I would look at $3.55 gas in a good way.
That’s almost enough to make me stop, now, to ‘take advantage’ of the ‘savings.’
I’ve done a lot already to downsize and save, too. I’m in the process of downsizing the mini-van to a Chevy HHR (with a 5-speed) and I’ve picked up an old reliable econo-car in a Ford Escort—which so far hasn’t thrilled me with the mileage.
With the start of the spring and summer landscaping season, I wonder how much we could all save if we shut off our leaf blowers and got out rakes and brooms instead. I’ve always preferred the old manual ways of doing things, anyway.
Soon, though, if things keep going the way they are, I’ll have to downsize from the escort to a motorcycle; perhaps even park the car and take my bike to work.
How are the high prices of fuel affecting your daily routine?
