I’ve been getting a lot of feedback on the annexation issue that started in Northville Township and threatens townships across the state.
I think all of these are important voices, and I will endeavor to keep up with them as best I can. I’ll be posting the letters on the opinion section of our web site, and of course you all are welcome to throw in your two cents worth through the comments at the end of stories.
I’ve also put up a form letter about the issue that anyone can feel free to download, print, sign and send to their various legislators.
One word of advice, though, or caution if that sounds better. Any references to a ‘corrupt’ entity will not make it through the filters. (And let me know if I’ve missed any). You can’t call someone corrupt with inferring that they are criminals and you get in a lot of legal trouble for that in this day and age.
So please, voice your opinion, state your concerns, talk about boycotts and rallies all you want, but leave out the attacks, okay?
