A change, already

Election day is always a special day for me. I tend to brim even more with civic pride and patriotism.
It’s nice to know I’m not alone. I just got back from precinct 7 in the City of Wayne and I noticed a change already. I normally vote in the afternoon and I’m always discouraged to see that maybe a handful of people have voted before me.
Today, more than 250 had already cast their ballots. Voters filled the gym at Hoover Elementary School, precinct workers were busy and happy instead of bored.
It’s good to see. That’s been my voting experience today. How was yours?
