Next Level Football Camp returns

Former Inkster resident and Dearborn Heights Robichaud football standout Jason Malloy will host his 3rd Annual Next Level Football Camp next month.

Malloy, who spent his college years as a Bronco at Western Michigan University, now lives in Canton and coaches varsity football at Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti.

His Next Level camp is directed toward middle and high school athletes. He provides young athletes the exciting opportunity to develop fundamental football skills in a well-supervised, organized and enthusiastic environment. The camp operates under the simple philosophy of giving each participant the finest instruction possible from a qualified staff in a fun atmosphere, according to Malloy.

Areas of concentration include flexibility, form running and sprint technique.

Malloy said NFL and former University of Michigan running back Tyrone Wheatley will be on hand as an inspirational speaker.

The staff will also use NFL, college and personal highlights films along with technique videos for instructional purposes throughout training.

Next Level is a non-contact camp so no helmets or pads are necessary, but football cleats, gym shoes and mouth guards are required. Camp will take place rain or shine.

The camp will be held at Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti on July 14—for middle school athletes (7th and 8th graders) only. High school players (9-12 grades) will train for two days—July 15 & 16. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on all three days.

All participants receive a free continental breakfast and lunch during camp.

The cost is $20 (checks made payable to: Next Level Football Camp). Register by mail at: ATT: Jason A. Malloy (Next Level Camp) P.O. BOX 1034, Garden City, MI 48134. Last day for registration is July 10 and can be done in person from 4-7 p.m. in front of Lincoln High School.
The first 100 registrants will receive a free t-shirt.
