Price drop
The print version of the story about the new car for Tom Yack didn’t mention that he got the “basic” version of the 2007 Ford Edge, which was $1,775 cheaper than the original quote from the purchasing co-operative for an upgraded model.
And in case you’re wondering, the items Yack will do without when the car arrives in six to eight weeks, according to materials handed out at the meeting, are: “auto lights, auto rearview mirror dimmer, illuminated door entry, fog lights, in-dash CD player, wheel controls for radio, compass and some other smaller items.”
