FeedsTheater fundraiser scheduled
The performers and organizers of the Wayne Actors Community Theater (ACT) are turning to some classic show tunes to help bring in some additional revenue.
The Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and the Stage Door fundraising group are putting on a Night of Andrew Lloyd Webber fundraiser next week, according to Colleen Meyer, arts and entertainment supervisor for the City of Wayne.
“I’m hoping for this to be a big fundraiser for Stage Door,” she said.
The show takes place from July 14-16, with performances at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The musical review will include many classics from Lloyd’s most recognized works performed by the Wayne theater groups.
Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for senior citizens and $8 for children 12 years old or younger. All proceeds go to benefit the Wayne theater programs.
